From 11th to the 22st of September, the “Junior Staff Officers Course” took place in Wiener Neustadt, Lower Austria. The course itself is designed to enable an officer to carry out his duty as (Senior) Staff Officer of a multinational staff on battalion level and (Junior) Staff Officer in a multinational HQ (brigade/contingent) in the framework of Peace Support Operations.
The course was hosted by the Austrian Military Academy. Participants included soldiers from the CEDC, the Western Balkans and Africa. As one of the goals of the “JSOC” is to be able to perform their respective duties in the framework of Peace Support Operations, it was the perfect preparation for future international trainings, assignments and cooperation.
