In summer 2022 the CEDC has published a Non-paper regarding a potential EPF assistance measure in BIH to establish a Western Balkan Defence College. The Non-paper was directly supported by Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic and Slovenia.

Every year, the respective defence ministers sign or adopt a joint declaration at the CEDC ministerial meetings. In addition to political statements on the current defence and security challenges, it also outlines the achievements of the past year and the way forward.

In 2017, a “Managing Migration Challenges Together” conference was held in Vienna, bringing together CEDC countries and partners from South-East Europe. As a result, a Joint Action plan was adopted, including a Crisis Response Plan. The document can be found below.
